Model Local Rule E-4;\u00a0 <\/strong>If a player’s ball lies in or touches an aeration hole:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(a) Ball in General Area. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b<\/a>. If the ball comes to rest in another aeration hole the player may take relief again under this Local Rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(b) Ball on Putting Green. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1d<\/a>. But<\/strong> interference does not exist if the aeration hole only interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing or, on the putting green, on the player’s line of play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Model Local Rule E-5;\u00a0 <\/strong>When a player’s ball has not been found or is\u00a0known or virtually certain\u00a0to be\u00a0out of bounds, the player may proceed as follows rather than proceeding under\u00a0stroke and distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\u00a0two penalty strokes<\/strong>, the player may take relief by dropping a ball in this\u00a0relief area** \u00a0(see\u00a0Rule 14.3<\/a>): <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Estimated Reference Points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(a) Ball Reference Point: The point where the original ball is estimated to have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
