xWhat is the Peter Alliss Masters?

The Peter Alliss Masters is charity which holds an annual golf tournament held at Old Thorns, Liphook as the culmination of various golf club activity around the country raising money for powered wheelchairs for young children.

The Peter Alliss Masters is a two-day event.

Day One – An optional practice day with dinner in the evening.

Day Two – The main event.

  1. The tournament itself.
  2. Presentation of wheelchairs to those receiving them this year.
  3. Tournament Gala Dinner
    1. Presentation to the tournament winners.
    2. An auction and distribution of various raffles etc
    3. Entertainment, usually by a number of celebrities.

The tournament is open to golf clubs and individuals whether or not they have actively raised money for the wheelchairs.

The golf tournament is an individual shotgun start Stableford competition.

The winners of are presented with either the Peter Alliss Masters Green Jacket and Quaich or the Peter Alliss Masters Pashmina.
