2026 – Planning

The 2025 programme ended last week, today we start planning for 2026.

Cams Hall and Crane Valley have been suggested as a new venue replacing Haywards Heath.

I have been asked why we don’t play at Old Thorns, particularly the last round. I guess for three reasons, a) the food offering is is not great and b) it could be considered unfair on non-OT players who maybe chasing OOM points, and finally Milford have treated us well with points galore available for those chasing.

At the moment the venues will probably include, Corhampton, Tylney Park, Sandford Springs, and maybe Pine Ridge.

If you have any ideas please email me. The general criteria used to select a venue is, travel time of one hour from Old Thorns and a total cost of £50 or less.

In the past we have played, Wimbledon Common, Petersfield, Cowdray, Guildford, Puttenham, Army, Bramley, Southwick, Sutton Green.

Prizes of wine, balls, and Peripatos gold badges. Previously Peripatos pitch folks and towels have been presented, other suggestions gratefully received.
