2018 Final Tally
A Few Facts
- Five of the six venues were played. Hartley Wintney was a complete wash out, only afterwards did I hear that it is best not to play there until the better weather.
- Average turnout was 17, with a high of 22 at Puttenham.
- Three new players were introduced by members and asked to be added to the ‘members’ distribution list.
- Average cost of a day was £39, excluding lunch on the final day at Cowdray but including the full English at Littlehampton.
- A total of 2,719 Stableford points were scored over 88 rounds at an average of 30.9.
- Generally prizes on the day were shared among 5 or 7 players.
- Terry Deyoung and Chris Grimes managed to pick up the most ‘gold pins’.
