2025 – Summary

Another season, the thirteenth, has come to a close. Across the six Peripatos days, twenty-six players played. Of those twenty-one played more than once. Jack Lowe and John Sargeant introduced 3 new players. And yes, they did come back for second round. Let’s hope they play again in 2026.

Haywards Heath, while a friendly club and an okay course it really is a pain getting there, meaning will not be featuring in 2026. Whilst it was played in the rain, Sandford Springs seems to have hit the right mark.

Cams Hall and Crane Valley have been suggested as alternate venues for 2026. If anyone has any other suggestions, please email me.

I planned my year well, missing the two wet days, when Jack stepped in to run them. Thank you, Jack. You may well be called on again in 2026.

The OOM was successfully defended by the 2024 winner, Dave Gerrard. John Sargeant closed the gap by 4 points, whilst Dave Taylor made up 10 to finish 4^th behind Charlie. Milford seems to provide ‘chasers’ with the opportunity to get closer to leaders.

A mistake was made, by me, with regard the best scores on par 4’s through the season. Rather than John Sargeant as announced, it was Charlie Crawford who won that particular trophy.

Well done to all players and here’s hoping for another good year in 2026.

The OOM is for the highest aggregate individual points over 3 rounds.

The Par Awards are for highest average points on the 3 different pars, again 3 rounds are to have been played to qualify for an award.
