Slinfold – 2026

Who said Slinfold is a wet course! The venue seemed to please most of those that played. Interesting, fun and tricky were adjectives used.

I must mention Mr Grimes, in case he doesn’t mention it, he managed to chip in for a birdie on 2 of the par 3s, 4 points gained on each! But on the par 5 fourth he also managed a birdie, 5 points. He finished 1st overall with 48 points. Even Mr Spear would have difficulty saying he only had an okay round. Congratulations Chris.

John Spiers introduced a couple of friends from Spain on a golfing trip here in the UK. Earlier this year he had a guest from Manchester, we are international.
