Haywards Heath – 2025
Overview
No Peripatos day passes without something to hang our hat on. Haywards Heath was no exception for the 15 players who played.
- John B and Paul Boyce travelling from Camberley had torrid 2.5hour journey. Generally, travel time proved to be more than that estimated by navigation systems.
- GG managed, probably with help from me, to confuse the score entry pages. However, help from Ella back at OT come up trumps. By the time groups came in it was all sorted.
- Wet weather gear was required for an hour or so. A complete contrast to the previous few days but we all finished in the dry.
- No surprise that Charlie and Alan out first as a 2 ball played through at least 2 fourballs.
- John and Paul arrived just before our last tee time, managed to have their bacon roll and choice of coffees, and then caught up with Terry.
- Again, the team with a ‘blind’ won the team competition.
