Alresford 2022

Nineteen players assembled in the refurbished Alresford clubhouse. Peripatos GS were visiting for the first time since adopting the name in 2016. The changes made to the clubhouse have really improved things. Catering was good, if a little slow in the morning.

The greens were not a fast as were expected and as with many courses played this year, the undergrowth has been cut back helping to speed up the round. Our 3 ball rounds were completed in around 3hrs 20mins with good scores all round.

Here for your entertainment is the current Order of Merit table. Remember you need to play 3 rounds to qualify. Adrian heads table alphabetically but has several players within 12 points of him. all capable of scoring enough to overhaul him. Will Adrian be able to improve his total?

The better overall performances on the Par 3, 4 and 5s is as follows. It is sum of the best 3 averages scores. Not very scientific but there we go. Chris with his prodigious length off the tee and putting has managed to post a good score on Par 5s while Dave with his trusty 6 iron has hit the Par 3s well. On the Par 4s we all need to watch out for Adrian as he sends a little white missile into orbit and land it on the green from all parts of the courses we play.
