2023 Season
2023
I have just realised that 2023 was the 11th year of the society albeit that it did not become Peripatos GS until 2017. Since 2013,
- 30 venues visited by some 50 players.
- Circa 140 gold pins awarded, Terry seems to have most on his hat.
- Circa 200 bottles of wine awarded.
- Over 450 Peripatos balls won.
This year we embraced new technology, using Golf Genius to sign up, preparation of team cards and enter the scores for the day. Who says those over 60 years cannot (eventually) handle technology. It has made life much easier from an organisers point of view.
It would be remiss of me not to confirm that Rookwood will NOT be in the schedule for 2024.
A quick thank you from me to you, who have taken on Golf Genius, paid promptly and not called off at the last minute.
New members and visitors are always welcome, whether playing one or more venue. Conditions for ‘membership’ are few: know course etiquette, can keep up with the pace of play and enjoy a day out with other likeminded people. All that happens is they are put in the Peripatos mailing list to receive all the emails. I few can find another 4 who would play we are more likely to get a price that suits.
