Puttenham 2021 Result
One of the largest turn outs for a Peripatos day, 20. Nineteen players arrived for the 9:20 tee time. Charlie managed to forget all about it. When contact was made he was on his way for a walk with Sandie and grandson Jack. At 10:00 Charlie teed off, then return a winning score of 40 points.
Unfortunately overnight one of the catering staff at the club had tested positive for Covid which had caused all the the catering team to be ‘pinged’. However coffee before the round was on tap and we were able to arrange for coffee and tea to be available after the round whilst the teller of the day, Chris Grimes with his very able assistant Martyn B resolved the various hieroglyphics on the returned cards.
The golf course was it’s usual test of requiring a reasonable drive and care over putts. A date for August is being arranged.
